Happy Hauntings Projects

Once I looked through the booklet for this cartridge, I had so many ideas! The first thing I wanted to do was these silhouettes for the wall...one for me, one for my husband and one for my daughter.

The next thing I pictured was some fun pillows. I already had some jack-o-lantern fabric that'd been hanging around unused for years, so I turned it into some quick pillow covers. Then I cut out the word art "spooky" and "creepy" with shadows using iron-on vinyl and ironed them onto the smaller pillows. I had wanted to put these on the wicker chairs on our front porch, but it hasn't stopped raining in days and I didn't want them to be destroyed, so they'll hang out in our living room. This was the first time I'd used the iron-on vinyl, and I'm hooked! It was so simple, I can't wait to get some more!

The last thing I came up with was some fun colored glass bottles. There is so much fun word art on this cartridge! I bought three bottles at a local thrift store for $1 each (score!) and four more at Hobby Lobby. I used white Cricut vinyl on the bottles, and orange glitter Cricut vinyl on the cauldron.

And last but not least, this sign for our front door was an impulse purchase when I was at Hobby Lobby. I hadn't figured out what I wanted to put up there yet, couldn't find anything premade I really liked...but then I found this sign with the three ghosts and the blank board, and it was perfect! I just added the word art from Happy Hauntings cut out of DCWV glitter cardstock and used mod podge to adhere it since the board was rough and glittery. So far it seems to be holding up!
I hope someone else has some projects to share, too...and I can't wait to see them!
